CMI Chartered Manager Full Assessment Pathway:
The institute currently provides three routes to attaining Chartered status. The way you need to choose is dependent on your mix of qualification and management experience. The following are three options to attain the CMI Chartered Manager status:
- Full Assessment
- CMI Fast Track
- Apprenticeship

Full Assessment:
You can use the Full Assessment pathway if you have:
Either a degree-level qualification that is business, management or leadership focused. Besides that, work experience of 3 years in a management role.
Or, a minimum of five years of management experience (equal to Level 5 or operational/senior management level) if you are without a management-specific qualification.

You will be required to complete a written application, summarizing your leadership and management journey to date and showcasing some of your major attainments.
After that, you will be introduced to one of CMI’s independent Chartered Manager evaluators. The CMI assessment professional will fix an online professional discussion with you to explore your application better, giving you the chance to bring your experiences and skills to life.
After you have completed the professional discussion, the evaluator will completely review both elements of your application and let you know about the outcome.
It will cost you £650+VAT and an ongoing annual membership fee where applicable.
