Ear Reconstruction Surgery for Ear Deformities

Comments · 72 Views

Microtia is an ear deformity found in babies from birth.

It can be detected from ear physiology as it is represented by small ear size as compared to normal, closed small ear, irregular ear shape, or no ear at all. Microtia usually occurs on only one side (more commonly on the right), but about 10% of patients have microtia on both sides (Bilateral Microtia). The complications of ear deformities should be evaluated properly and the part affected should be diagnosed on time. Most ear deformities can be treated successfully by ear reconstruction surgery. If looking for surgery, then Dr. Parag Telang is the best surgeon. He has successfully performed more than 700 ear reconstructive surgeries.
