canadian culture :- In 1951 the Illustrious Commission on Public Improvement in Human expression, Letters, and Sciences gave a report (what became known as the Massey Report) cautioning that Canadian culture had become undetectable, almost unclear from that of the adjoining US, attributable to long stretches of "American intrusion by film, radio, and periodical." Consequently, the public authority pronounced that Canada's broad communications would be expected to empower Canadian substance — books, TV projects, magazines, and other privately made social items.
