New Delhi, May 1, 2025 The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has officially released a notification introducing a revised toll structure for specific segments of two major highway routes in Gujarat. The revised toll applies to a 30 km stretch of National Highway 751 (NH-751) between Nari Junction near Bhavnagar and Adhelai (the terminal point of Dholera SIR), as well as a 23 km portion of National Expressway 8 (NE-8), commonly referred to as the Ahmedabad-Dholera Expressway, running from Adhelai to the central area of Dholera SIR.
The NH-751 section slated for tolling runs from Adhelai village to Nari Junction, covering design kilometers 136.000 to 169.308a total tollable distance of approximately 30.727 km.
Meanwhile, the tolled portion of NE-8 spans about 23.860 km, beginning at design km 84.709 near the Dholera Interchange and extending to km 109.019 at the Adhelai Interchange, which is the terminal point of NE-8.

These developments aim to enhance connectivity between Bhavnagar and Dholera, with both NH-751 and NE-8 offering integrated travel routes. NH-751 originates at Nari Junction and links with the Ahmedabad-Dholera Expressway at the Adhelai Interchange. Although the entire expresswayfrom SP Ring Road to Dholerais still under construction, it is reportedly 95% finished. According to the Chief Minister, who recently visited Dholera SIR, the NHAI is preparing to open the completed 23 km stretch from Adhelai to Dholera, further streamlining access to Dholera SIRs activation area. The updated toll rates have been formally declared to support this transition.
