McGill University is a public research university located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The university was founded by a charter issued by King George IV in 1821 and named after James McGill, a Scottish businessman who founded the University's predecessor, McGill University (or simply McGill College) in 1813; In 1885 it was renamed McGill University. McClellan's main campus is located on the slopes of Mount Royal in Montreal, and the second is located 30 kilometers (19 miles) west of the main campus in Saint-Anne-de-Bello. And on the island of Montreal. Along with the University of Toronto, the university is one of only two universities outside the United States to be members of the Association of American Universities and the only Canadian member of the World Economic Forum's Global University Leaders' Forum (GULF). Campus life
Our city complex can be accessed by public transport (McGill metro station or bus), by bicycle or by foot. Parking on campus is prohibited if you have a vehicle. Plan to park outside the campus.
Student Services
Provide high-quality, easily accessible programs for McGill students on the Downtown and McDonald campuses, facilitating their relocation, re-entry and academic development. We are here to assist students in overcoming the barriers that hinder their ability to have a good and interesting learning experience at McGill in any project.

Recognition
Canadian undergraduate medical education programs are jointly accredited by the Canadian Medical Schools Accreditation Commission (CACMS) and the Liaison Committee on Medical Education in the United States (LCME). A survey team on behalf of these accredited organizations visits each medical program at least once every eight years.
