As a University of Toronto student, you must add courses and pay fees on your department's due dates. If you are waiting for financial aid or other assistance, you may have the option of deferring your payment. Along with the service charge, partial payment can also be arranged. If you plan to live in an apartment and/or use the meal plan, you may need to pay in more than two installments or arrange an alternative payment plan.
Tuition Fee:
The amount of tuition you pay depends on factors such as your program and year of study, your course, and your campus. While the exact tuition fees for each academic year are usually finalized in the spring, you can check previous years' amounts in your area of study to get an idea of how much you will pay in tuition. Remember that in addition to tuition, your total fee includes incidentals and ancillary fees.
Contingency, ancillary, and system access fees
Contingent fees contribute to student organizations, campus-based services, athletic and recreational facilities, and student health and dental programs. Many of these fees are mandatory, but you will have the option to opt-out of a small proportion of them.
Supplemental fees may include administrative costs such as field trip expenses or special equipment provided for the course, transcript fees, or library fines.
