Basically, this movie is based on Stephen King novella Rita Hayworth. Shawshank has incarcerated the human spirit in this modern world. Different critics have claimed that Shawshank Redemption is one of the unparalleled Hollywood Movies of the 21st century. Plot

The story of the Shawshank is full interesting, curious and amazing. The hero of the movie Tim Robbins is sentenced due to his wife murder and her lover.  His marriage was a love marriage and he likes too much to his wife. Despite his claim of innocence, he was sentenced to death. During his prisoner life, he befriends with Margon freeman. Shawshank becomes a money-laundering operation led by the prison warden Bob Gunton. Most other supporting characters also appeared such as William Sadler, Gil Bellows, James Whitmore and Clancy Brown.

The character of the Red is also very interesting and he narrates the events of the prison life. Basically, he gives us the conception of the corrupt world. All the scenes in the film are inter-linked and inter-mingled very well. So, we can say that crafting style of the writer was good. An ordinary protagonist’ life event gives us a lesson about hope. The protagonist falls from prosperity to adversity due to innocent nature. It shows the tragedy that often innocent protagonist face. The plot of the movie reminds us of the story of the Oedipus King who has faced all these difficulties due to his innocent nature. However, the most remarkable scene of the movie is Suds on the Roof in which Andy take the risk of his life in order to help his prisoners’ friends. In that scene, the bravery of Andy gives us a lesson that we should not feel fear to get risks in life.

Andy style of asking extra money is also a very notable and memorable scene in the movie. They think to build up a memorial library for other prisons. Commenting suicide of the Brooks Hatlen is a very sad scene of the movie. Another most beautiful scene is the Andy passion and style of collecting records for the prison library. He puts up a record on the loudspeakers in order to give access to all the prisons of the Shawshank. When he hides in the room and a guard tries to get it, it looks very funny.
