The process of going from CGPA to percentage is simply multiplication of CGPA by a minimum value of 9. 4 furthermore can also be used in 5 as is the case with many an educational institution. For instance the CGPA of a student ,if 8 ,the percentage equivalent becomes 8 x 9. 5=76%. This method is somewhat easier than others and understanding of academic performance in percentage terms.
