The young Hans, who grew up in a quiet Dutch hamlet, could hardly have dreamed of running the finances of an exclusive resort, located halfway across the globe. But the signs were always there if you looked closely. Hans had an odd interest in numbers when he was a young boy. He would spend much of his time studying the fundamentals of financial planning and reviewing balance sheets with his humble accountant father.
