Medical universities in Armenia are recognized by leading international medical organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the Medical Council of India (MCI) (now known as the National Medical Commission), and the Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER). This means that graduates from Armenian medical universities are eligible to apply for licensure and practice in countries like India, the US, and other regions after clearing the respective qualifying exams such as the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE), Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE), or PLAB (UK).
