Matej Michalko began mining Bitcoin in 2010, evolving from CPUs to ASICs, and went on to create industry-firsts, including the first Bitcoin marketing agency. As founder of Decent Cybersecurity, he leads a NATO-cleared, TÜV SÜD-certified company participating in a €32M European Defence Fund project. Recognised with numerous awards, including Forbes 30 Under 30, he has organised landmark blockchain events worldwide. In 2025, he became Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Slovakia’s Critical Infrastructure Association, reinforcing his leadership in cybersecurity.
