He did his Master’s in surgery from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal and Hamidiya Hospital, Bhopal in Year 2000.
He then pursued his urology training at India’s premier Institute and Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre Mumbai from where he did his DNB in genitourinary surgery and urology.

After post-graduation in urology from Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre, Mumbai, Dr Ravi Nagar trained in Endourology, Uro-oncology, Reconstructive Urology & Renal Transplant. He worked as senior clinical associate at Jaslok Hospital in2005-2006.He honed his skills in Endourology for urolithiasis, urological laser surgeries and renal transplant while serving as a chief urologist at CHL-Apollo Hospital Indore during 2006-2012.He also established the Urology, Nephrology and Renal Transplant Department as Director & Head Department of Renal Sciences at Synergy Hospital, Indore. He was been associated with Medanta Hospital, Indore as Associate Director & Head Urology & Kidney Transplant since the last 5 years. He has a keen interest in teaching postgraduates and has been Assistant Prof. Urology at RD Gardi Medical College, Ujjain.
