We received one of the first two pre-production units of the Spirit 2 in North America and tested everything — from unboxing and installation to tiller mechanics, the tilt system, and on-water speed and range. The result? 12.1 mph on the plane in Boost Mode with one adult aboard. That’s not a spec-sheet number. That’s what we recorded on the water.
The ePropulsion Spirit 2.0 delivers 2 kW continuous power (5 hp equivalent) and 3 kW Boost Mode (6 hp equivalent). At full continuous power, it reaches 7.4 mph, compared with the 5.1 mph top speed recorded for the ePropulsion Spirit 1.0 Plus.
