Three years on, Dakar 2026 marked KOVE's fourth consecutive appearance at the rally, and by several measures, its most significant yet. Rider #66 Neels Theric claimed three R2-class stage wins over the course of the event — SS4, SS5, and SS8 — after recovering from a P115 finish in the Prologue to reach P24 by the end of SS1. His win on SS4 was, according to KOVE, the first-ever R2 stage victory for a Chinese brand at Dakar.

Teammate #45 Sunier added to the season's momentum, finishing P35 overall and posting a personal-best stage result of P24 on SS10 — progress KOVE describes as setting up bigger ambitions for next season. Beyond the two factory riders, seven privateers from different countries also competed on KOVE's 450 Rally Ex this year, including experienced Dakar competitor #27 Milan Engel and Isle of Man TT winner #50 James Hillier, bringing the total KOVE-mounted field to nine riders.
