Tractors' History in India 

The first tractor was imported by the British government in 1914 in India. The purpose of these tractors is to clear the clear bushes and shrubs and prepare the land for agricultural purposes.In 1930, India started producing tractor engines and spare parts.

Tractor Industry: 1961-70  - In India, tractor manufacturing started manufacturing in 1961. In 1965 they manufactured 5,000 tractors overall. , and in 1970, there are 20,000.The manufacturing of tractors promoted agriculture sector highly. 

Tractor Industry: 1971-1980 - The demand of tractor is rapidly increasing in in 1971 due to the green revolution. Government of India stated giving loans to the farmers to increase the overall growth in agricultural sector.

Industry of Tractors: 1981-1990 - The industry was growing quickly at that time. There are more advance technologies are available to manufacture tractors. India started exporting tractors after this period.
