Overview
Stretched in the lush greenery and abundant of natural sights to capture,
captivated amidst the Chandra Valley in Lahaul and Kullu Valley in Himachal
Pradesh. Hampta Pass is a corridor in the Himalayas which get its name from
Hamta village. The bliss of cold-barren glaciers and moonlit waterfalls, adds a
star to this exotic trek. Have you heard of black forest cake, you must have
tasted it, but you can walk on the black forest cake, the pinewoods, the
rhododendron forests, standing tall on the snow-covered lands, the brash of
cold and chromatic dark brown and white enriches the trails. The trek
challenges one to level up their love for trekking. Hampta pass trek starts from
Jobra, where streams of Rani Nallah accompany with you. The curvy roads,
Rocky Mountains, after completing many ascends and descends finally the trek
comes to an end with a view of turquoise blue sly and pristine Chandra Tal
Lake situated at an altitude of 4,200 meters.the Hampta Pass trek is a popular trekking route located in the Himachal Pradesh region of India. Nature Park in Manali
Beside the pristine Beas River, Nature Park is situated where we can witness
the dense forest of Alpine, deodar, maple, oak trees. The vast flora and fauna
of the hilly region of Manali. From the forest enjoy the expanded view of white
mountains, the hue of chromatic green forests and fresh white mountain is an
absolute delicacy, oops! not to eat but to treat your eyes.
The itinerary
The itinerary of the trip follows like, the trip starts from Manali from there take
a drive to Jobra through Prini, the incomplete roads and sharp turns takes you
to the significant river of Northern India, the Beas River along with it enjoy the
apple tress and pine trees covering the road sides. Manali unfolds itself from
the cloudy envelop, after an hour we will reach at Jobra, which is also famous
for Allian Duhangan Hydropower plant. Energize yourself with some
refreshments because the actual trek starts from here to Hampta Pass. Walk
through the dense and chromatic forests of maple, deaodar and oak trees,
which is a rare sight to witness. The moonlit stream of Rani Nallah flowing
under the rustic and old wooden bridge will come on your path. Then trek for
another 2 hours inside the pristine sky, sunlight chasing through the forests
and soggy roads at the end the forest the trail opens up to the valley of Chikka.
You have reached to your first campsite. Enjoy the cozy nights and bonfires
under the clear sky and chilled weather with hot and delicious food. Buck up
yourself with a good sleep because next day is going to be even more
adventurous, we will be reaching more heights. While trekking, after few
kilometres, rocky streams will be accompanying us, the hue of herbs and
shrubs with evergreen forests and streams flowing is a treat to the eyes. The
spectrum of vast flowers and radiant nature in the Jwara is worth every drop of
sweat.
In this package of chromatic forests, sprinkling streams, green
meadows, explore the beauty of orchids. After rejuvenating yourself in the
nature, ascend few more kilometres to Balu Ka Ghera. Where you will be
spending the rest of the night, with your fellow company, enjoy this night
routine for few more days. Well, the toughest trek is about to start the next
day, get a good sleep, and wake up fresh and start early as much as possible.
Trek through the steep slopes and ascend to higher altitudes, the river and
roads runs together and you too just follow the path with it. After a long trail,
the rivers narrows down and snow appears, the path of snow and rocky ravine
starts. The dry and zigzag trails end up at the Hampta pass, which is stretched
to Lahaul Pass.
Cpnclusion
The challenging part of this trek is descending the steep slopes
which is muddy and big boulders on the loose soil. After the challenging yet
thrilling trail takes us to Shea Goru, the third campsite of the trip. Next day we
embark to final descend of the trip that is Chandra Tal Lake, the road to
Chandra Tal Lake is a bit dangerous as due to bad weather the roads are prone
to landslides so kindly check the weather before leaving. One may end the trek
here at Chandra Tal Lake and leave for Chhatru and from there to Manali, or
may take a day off at the Chandra Tal Lake. And get back to their places next
