Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Welcome to Kathmandu, a city filled with busy markets, colorful temples, and majestic pagodas. Take a cab from there and check in to your respective hotel. The rest of the day will be spent familiarizing yourself with the retail areas closest to your hotel and catching up on equipment purchasing. Prepare for the walk by exploring the bustling streets of Thamel. Stay in Kathmandu for the night.
Day 2: Flight to Lukla, Trek to Phakding
A flight from Kathmandu to Lukla requires around 35 minutes, which is plenty of time to soak in the stunning Himalayan views. The journey then begins with a very easy hike via a Kani before the trail drops and leads above Kyangma town with its enormous gompa and school. Views of stunning scenery and the Dudh Koshi River are available. Stay at Phakding for the night.
Day 3: Trek to Namche Bazaar
After breakfast, the walk passes via Tok-Tok, Bhenkar, and Monjo before arriving at the Sagarmatha National Park entrance gate, where you will be required to purchase a permit. There is a difficult ascent to Namche Bazaar after a few hours of following the river bed and the final Hillary suspension bridge. Namche has a wide variety of eateries, as well as a cyber café, bars, a post office, an ATM, and banks. Stay the night at Namche Bazaar.
Day 4: Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar
A site for "acclimatization" is perfect in this picture-perfect town. Health professionals advise us to spend the day moving about rather than sitting still. From Namche, you can travel by short climb to Thame, Khunde, Everest View Resort, or you can unwind and stroll through Namche Bazaar. The primary hub of the Everest region is Namche Bazaar, which features government buildings, ATMs, cafés, stores, and a vibrant market every Friday and Saturday. Stay the night at Namche Bazaar.
Day 5: Trek to Tengboche
The trek continues along the rapid flowing glacial waters of the Dudh Kosi with magnificent views of the mountains (Mt. Everest, Lhoste, Taboche peak, Amadablam. You eventually reach an altitude of 3,800 meters at Tengboche. Go to observe a prayer ceremony, either in the evening or in the morning, depending on how the trekking goes this day. Visit the well-known Tengboche Monastery to experience its tranquil setting.
Day 6: Trek to Dingboche
There is not much of a distance to walk between Tengboche and Dingboche. Trek through rhododendron trees, cross the Imja Khola, and arrive at the charming settlement of Dingboche (4,410 m), which offers breathtaking views of Ama Dablam. Later, the route splits, with the left branch ascending to Pheriche before ascending steeply to the settlement of Dingboche (4460m), which has many excellent guesthouses. Stay the night at Dingboche.
Day 7: Acclimatization Day in Dingboche
To acclimatize to the altitude, another day is needed. Nagarjun Hill is a short walk away and offers stunning 360-degree views. Nagkartshang Gompa lies above Dingboche, or you can go to Pheriche for an afternoon lecture on altitude sickness. The trail to Chhukung departs from Dingboche and travels to Bibr (4570m), passing past the magnificent mountain peaks Taboche, Nuptse, and Lhotse as well as the gigantic, flute-shaped Amphu Laptsa Pass. Overnight stay in Dingboche.
Day 8: Trek to Lobuche
Here, you can see prayer flags and stone clusters that have been placed by Sherpas in memory of Scott Fischer, an American mountaineer, and Babu Chiri Sherpa, a Nepalese mountain guide, who both died while attempting to climb Mount Everest. Following that, the path leads to the Khumbu Glacier moraine, where we can see the stunning mountain peaks of Khumbutse, Lingtren, and Mahalangur Himal. In Lobuche, you spend the night.
Day 9: Trek back to Gorak Shep, Everest Base Camp
The trek begins with a short stroll towards Thukla, crosses the Khumbu Glacier's steep terminal moraine, and then ascends Chupki Lhara. Here, you can see prayer flags and stone clusters that have been placed by Sherpas in memory of Scott Fischer, an American mountaineer, and Babu Chiri Sherpa, a Nepalese mountain guide, who both died while attempting to climb Mount Everest.In Lobuche, you can spend the rest of the night.
Day 10: Hike to Kala Patthar, Trek to Pheriche
Start your journey through the enormous Gorak-Shep on your way to Mount Everest Base Camp. We pass memorials for the Indian Army Mountaineers along the way. It's crucial to follow your guide at this stage because the road can be complicated. Before arriving at the Mt. Everest Base Camp, go over rocky dunes, moraine, and streams.
Day 11: Trek to Namche Bazaar
Descend to the Imja Khola and then climb through the rhododendron forest to the monasteries of Tengboche. The trail continues into the Dudh Koshi gorge before rapidly descending through pine forests till it reaches Sansa after passing the bridge across the (milky river) Dudh Koshi River. Stay the night in Namche Bazaar.
Day 12: Trek to Lukla
This would serve as the last day of hiking before you headed back to Lukla, where you started. A free afternoon gives you the chance to unwind and take a hot shower. We'll toast the occasion in the evening with a few drinks and dancing. Join the team in celebrating the trek's conclusion. Lukla overnight stay.
Day 13: Flight to Kathmandu
From Lukla, take a morning flight to Kathmandu. In Kathmandu, rest and unwind. Stay the night in Kathmandu.
Day 14: Explore Kathmandu
Discover Kathmandu's cultural landmarks, such as Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, and Durbar Square. Take advantage of some last-minute souvenir purchasing. You can also use this time to visit locations you missed when you first arrived in Kathmandu.
Day 15: Departure
We've reached the conclusion of our voyage, but your memories will endure a lifetime! Your Everest Base Camp Trek comes to an end as you depart from Kathmandu.
